Reduce ammonia blood levels in the prevention and treatment of hepatic encephalopathy
In cats
for constipation - 1ML per 4.5 KG of body weight and dose can be adjusted as needed.
For Hepatic encephalopathy - 0.25 - 1ml PO
In dog
For constipation - 1ML per 4.5 KG or bodyweight and dose can be adjusted.
For Hepatic encephalopathy - 15 to 30 ML PO four times a day and dose can be adjusted
In diabetic patient
Syrup contains some free, lactose and Galactose that may alter the insulin requirements
Lactulose solution - 10gm per 15ml, 30ml, 240ml, 473ml, 480, 960, 1893ml
Lactulose crystals 10gm, 20gm
