Inodilator

A calcium sensitive and a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase |||(PDE |||) and having positive ionotropic and vasodilator effect. It increases cardiac muscle contractility

Valvular insufficiency, increases the rate of survival chances in dogs

Dogs- 0.5 mg/ Kg daily dose PO ( can divide the daily dose into two portions and can be given 2 hrs apart) 

Cats - 0.1-0.3 mg/ kg q 12 h PO

Hypersensitive patients, pregnancy safety, resorption may occur at high dose rate

Diarrhoea, vomition, low appetite
