Action
  • Trypanostatic
  • It causes a kinetoplastic D.N.A. condensation.
  • It causes the loss of ribosomes with possible aggregate formation with large
    number of lysosomes.
Indication
  • Prevention and treatment of Trypanosomiasis
  • Prophylaxis in horse
Dose
  • Dissolve Antrycide ProSalt 2.5 g in 15 ml. of water for injection and inject @2 ml per 45 kg body weight by subcutaneous route Antrycide is administered by subcutaneous route.
  • In cattle, the common sites are behind the shoulder, the midline of the dewlap or the caudal fold.
  • The dose may be divided between several sites, and these should be massaged following injection.
Contraindications
  • Only SC route
Adverse Effects
  • Local irritation at site
  • In horses, salivation, sweating and tremors may occur

    Quinapyramine Sulphate B.Vet.C. – 1.5 g
    Quinapyramine Chloride B.Vet.C – 1.0 g
    One Ampoule of sterile water for injection IP – 15ml

Inj Triquin ( VETOQUINOL)

  • 2.5 g vials
  • One vial containing:
    Quinapyramine Sulphate – 1.5 g
    Quinapyramine Chloride - 1.0 g

Inj Triquin s ( VETOQUINOL)

  • 2 g vials
  • One vial containing:
    Quinapyramine Sulphate – 2gm
