• Treatment and prophylaxis of Fe deficiency
• Anaemia

• Ruminants: 10-30 mg/kg, 24 hrs,  PO
• Horse: 10-20 mg/kg, 24 hrs,  PO
• Dog: 100-300 mg/dog, 24 hrs,  PO
• Cat: 50-100mg/cat 24hrs,   PO

• Anaemia other than iron deficiency
• Acute renal infections
• Conjunction with oral iron supplements

• Prostration
• Muscle weakness
• Anaphylacoid reaction
