Our goal is to provide you and your pet with high quality, fast, friendly emergency service at our convenient location in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Please feel free to come in or call our hospital for information or advice at any time 24 hours a day.

We are here to help ease your stress as well as take care of your pet’s urgent needs. Whether it is a torn toenail or life-threatening traumatic injury, we can help. Our hospital has a full in-house laboratory and digital x-ray equipment to help us perform diagnostics and give you results while you wait. Faster results mean faster treatment. That is important when you have an emergency.

Our hospital is unique because we are not your regular veterinarian and provide continuing care whether their offices are closed or not. Most regular vets have daytime business hours whereas we are here 24-hours a day for you and your pet. Emergency services include overnight care and intensive care during an extended stay. Intensive care may include keeping a pet on oxygen or continuous monitoring of vital signs by a technician and a doctor.

The services we offer are more comprehensive than other emergency hospitals because we have specialists on staff including a board-certified surgeon. The surgery services include soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our surgery service is called PETSURG.

The benefit of using our service compared to other specialty hospitals is that we offer more personalized service in a friendly environment. We tailor your pet’s treatment to their individual needs while taking your concerns into consideration. You will meet the staff who will be treating your pet overnight and be able to call and talk to the same veterinarian.

What To Do In A Pet Emergency

It should be easier for both you and your pet if you know what to expect at our animal emergency clinic. Here are the steps you should take:

STEP 1
Call Ahead If Possible

We understand that in a vet emergency, you might not be able to call us in advance, however, it's always best if you do so. If you have time, you could also fill out our New Patient Form prior to your arrival.

STEP 2
Get To Our Office Right Away

A member of our team will show you to an examination room. If you haven't already, you will be asked to fill out our New Patient Form. A veterinary technician will triage your pet, then an emergency veterinarian will conduct a full exam.

STEP 3
Determine Treatment

Once your pet has been examined, our highly trained veterinarians will establish a treatment plan so your pet can receive the best treatment possible. We will keep your primary care veterinarian up to date with your pet's medical history to guarantee seamless, integrated care that meets your pet's requirements.

Typically, our patients are discharged after treatment. However, if they require extended care, we will admit them to our facility, where they will be monitored and treated.
