B-lactam antibiotic

Interfere with production of cell wall peptidoglycan cause lysis of cell wall.

Ceftizoxime does not get deactivated by hydrolytic enzymes as it lack C-3 side chain

Mastitis

Large - 5mg/kg single dose (for 96hours)

Inj Zoctim (INTAS) - 2.5gm and 3gm vials

inj voxim (VETOQUINOL ) - 2.5gm and 3gm vials

inj M-ceft (ALEMBIC) - 2.5gm vials
