Neutralize gastric HCl

Bind to phosphate in GI tract and making it unavailable for absorption 

Bind to pepsin and stimulate local PGE1 

Gastritis, gastric ulcers, hyperphosphatemia in cats and dogs

Cats and dogs @ 10-20mg/kg PO q6-8hr

0.5-1ml/kg PO q6-8hr after meal

prior administration of digoxin

Constipation 

Alucap, gelucil, acidex, mg salt (asilone, maolax, mucogel)
