Act mainly at distal tubule to decrease the resorption of Na+ by inhibition of the Na+Cl- co-tansporter in the luminal membrane

For congestion heart failure, when the clinical signs become refractory to frusemide

Dog- 12.5-25mg/dog

Care 12.5mg/cat 1-4mg/kg P/O

Renal impairment, tends to reduce glomerulan filtration rate

Reduce GFR

Oral 50mg, 25mg, 12.5mg tablets
