Progesterone preparation

• Maintains the endometrium and is important for the continuity of pregnancy
• Promotes mucus formation in vagina, participates in development of alveolar system in mammary gland
• At low dose, cause ovulation

• Habitual / threatened abortions due to inadequate progesterone level
• Uterine prolapse
• Repeat breeding due to failure of embryo implantation as a result of luteal insufficiency

Route - IM

Habitual abortion indications in Early pregnancy - 3ml IM after 45 days of pregnancy and to be repeated 4-5 times at every 10 days interval

Habitual / threatened abortions ( mid / late pregnancy ) - 3ml IM for 3 days and followed by weekly injection for next 3 weeks

Uterine prolapse (due to pronounced heat) - 3 ml IM to be repeated on 3rd day, if required

Post partum uterine prolapse - 3 ml IM at every alternate day, followed by weekly injection for 3 weeks

Anti partum uterine prolapse - 3 ml IM at 2 days interval for 3 times

Repeat breeeders (with luteal insufficiency) - 2-3 ml IM at 5th, 12th and 19th days post Al .

• Prolonged exogenous administration - Uterine glandular hyperplasia, uterine fluid accumulation, endometritis
• Pregnant animal

• Pain at site of administration
• Allergic skin rashes
• Urticaria may be encountered
