• Horse: 0.01-0.05 mg/kg  IV
• Small animals: 0.01-0.04 mg/kg   IM, IV, SC

• Patients with cardiac abnormalities or opiod dependent. 
• Elevate BP in endotoxic or Hypocolemic shock, strokes, spinal surgery
