Decrease the production of uric acid by inhibiting enzymes responsible for uric acid synthesis

• Uric acid uroliths
• Leishmaniasis(administer with meglumine antimonite / sodium stibogluconate)

Horse @ 5 mg/kg PO

Dogs @

• For Uric acid urolith @ 10 mg/kg TID PO then reduce to 10 mg/kg OD PO
• For leishmaniasis @ 10 mg/kg BID PO for 4-6 months
