Cattle and Buffalo @

2ml (500mcg) - IM

Horses @

• Single IM Inj.  of 0.5-1 ml (mare have upto 400kg b.wt)
• 1-2 ml IM Inj (mare have more than 400kg b.wt)

Sheep and Goat @

0.5 ml (125 mcg) IM

Cat @

5 mcg/kg SC once daily for 3 days

Dog @

1-1.25 mcg/kg OD SC for 4-5 days 

• Pregnant animal (cause threatened abortion)
• Mare suffering from acute or subacute GI disorders and respiratory disease
• IV route is contraindicated

(Skin absorption is there, so take care during handling)

• Increased cardiac and respiratory rates
• Abdominal discomfort
• Watery diarrhoea
• Depression
• Vomiting and Nausea

(These signs are transient and last for 15-20 minutes)

Horse, cattle, sheep , goat @ 1-1.5 mg/Kg for 5 days

dog @ 25mg/kg

In anoestrus and repeat breeding cattle @ 300mg for 3-5 days

Precaution- administer 1% copper sulphate solution before clomiphene to induce closure of rumens reticular groove.
