Antiviral drug

• It inhibits enzyme neuraminidase which helps in viral replication and passage of virus into new cell through the mucus membrane. 
• It reduces the entry of parvo virus into the mucosa of the intestine. 

Parvo virus infection in dogs. 

Equine influenza A in horse. 

• Dog  -   CPVE-2. 2mg/kg  PO, BD for 5days
• Horse- Equine influenza-2mg/kg PO, BD for 5 days
